    The National Weather Service in Tampa FL has issued a

    * Flood Warning for
    the Hillsborough River at Morris bridge
    * from this evening until late Friday night
    * at 06 am Tuesday the stage was... 31.6 feet
    * minor flooding is forecast
    * flood stage is 32 feet
    * the river is forecast to rise above flood stage by this evening and continue
    to rise to near 32.2 feet by tomorrow morning. The river is expected to fall
    below flood stage by Friday evening.
    * Impact... at 32 feet... flooding begins at a trailer park downstream from
    Morris bridge and just upstream from the northern end of the Tampa bypass
    canal.
    * Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 32.2 feet on Aug 14
    1965.

    * until Thursday afternoon.
    * At 9 PM Monday the stage was 13.3 feet and rising.
    * Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
    * The river will continue rising to near 14.1 feet by Tuesday afternoon.
    The river is expected to fall below flood stage late Thursday morning.
    * Impact... at 14.5 feet... flooding of several houses begins
    near 32nd and 33rd streets in Ruskin.
    * Flood history... this crest compares to a previous
    crest of 14.3 feet on Sep 26 2013.

    the Alafia River at Lithia
    * through Wednesday afternoon.
    * At 9 PM Monday the stage was 12.6 feet and rising slowly.
    * Flood stage is 13.0 feet.
    * The river is forecast to rise near flood stage by Tuesday evening and
    then fall below flood stage by late Wednesday morning.
    * Impact... at 13.0 feet... River Drive and Squirrel Run way downstream
    of State Road 640 are completely covered by water. One home begins
    to flood.
    * Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest
    of 14.4 feet on Aug 29 2012.

    the Hillsborough River near Zephyrhills
    * until further notice.
    * At 9 PM Monday the stage was 10.5 feet.
    * Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
    * The river will continue rising to near 11.6 feet by Wednesday morning
    then begin falling.
    * Impact... at 11.0 feet... Hillsborough River State Park is closed. Lowland
    flooding occurs at the Mobile Home Park near Branchton on State Road 579.
    * Flood history... this crest compares to a previous
    crest of 13.2 feet on Sep 28 2004.

    The Flood Watch continues for

    * portions of FL and west central Florida... including the
    following in FL... coastal ... Citrus... coastal Hernando...
    coastal Hillsborough... coastal Levy... coastal Pasco... inland
    Citrus... inland Hernando... inland Hillsborough... inland Levy
    and inland Pasco. In west central Florida... Pinellas.

    * Through this evening

    * the potential for scattered excessive rainfall through today
    with localized additional accumulation totals exceeding 2
    inches. Rainfall is not expected to be as widespread today...
    however any additional localized rainfall will renew the areal
    flooding threat.

    * Highly saturated soils and the potential for additional heavy
    rainfall will continue the risk of widespread areal and street
    flooding. If possible... clear drainage systems of any debris
    which may become clogged in flooding rains.

    Precautionary/preparedness actions...

    A Flood Watch means that flooding is possible during the next
    24 to 36 hours. Residents living in flood prone areas should take
    action to protect property.
